  • Dr. Kal Stumpf received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy Degree (OTD) from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014 with a specialty autism practice certification and doctoral research around Skill Building for Parents of Children with Disabilities. She has worked for over 39 years as an occupational therapist in a variety of settings, primarily in schools, though she has both professional and personal experience in assisting caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s disease. Kal also worked for over 6 years in a large hospital acute/rehabilitation setting with children. She recently retired from 10 years practicing in the Boulder Valley School District.  In addition to her OTD, Kal earned a B.S. in Occupational Therapy in 1984 and an M.S. in Educational Psychology-Learning and Development in 1989. She currently holds a Master CDE and CO state license as an occupational therapist. She provides model occupational therapy interventions as a collaborative team member for children with a variety of special educational needs and for students with multiple disabilities. Kal is currently a professor in the OT doctoral programs for both CSU and UMN.
